Shortwave Radio

Welcome to the World of Shortwave Radio

 A Window to the World

Shortwave Radio?

What's that?

Shortwave Radio is something revolutionary! Shortwave Radio is an allocation of the radio spectrum, which lies above the AM Radio band. It is internationally recognized that the spectrum is situated between 1.6 MHz to 30 MHz. Many transmissions lay in these frequencies: Marine, Military, Airplanes, Pirates, Fishermen, Spies, Commercial radio stations and much more.

How do I listen?

Simple.  Buy a shortwave radio! These can be found on online stores like Amazon. They can also be found in numerous shops and thrift stores, however, it is scarce nowadays.

Shortwave Radios can be $10 or $2,500. The higher the price, the better the radio can be. Of course, they receive the same things, so don't intend to buy a $1000 radio, for listening to a radio station 10 miles away. There are numerous shortwave radios which top the market. Here are the best, for reasonable prices:

  • Tecsun PL-660

  • C Crane CC Skywave

  • Grundig G5

  • Sangean ATS-909X

  • Tecsun PL-880

  • Grundig Satellit 750

...and a lot more! Consult a website called 'Google' to find the radio for you!
